The cheapest alternative as an interface would be a VAS 6154 clone, which is available from the Chinese for as little as 45 euros, I wouldn't recommend it but it works.
Otherwise TabScan T6PT3G (550 to 600 euros), VNCI (300 euros) or the original PT3G from Porsche.
